Installing the Windows client

Download the .exe, run the installer, sign in, and hit Connect.

Steps

  1. Open the Download page and click the Windows button.
  2. Run the downloaded Logrus-Setup.exe. Windows may prompt SmartScreen — click "More info → Run anyway".
  3. Pick the install directory (default C:\Program Files\Logrus) and click "Install".
  4. The app launches automatically after install. Sign in — email + password or via Telegram.
  5. Hit the big green Connect button. In 1–3 seconds you'll see the connection animation and the server list.

If it doesn't work

  • App won't start: check your antivirus isn't blocking logrus.exe (add it to exclusions).
  • Error 0x80004005: usually means Windows Firewall is blocking the VPN interface. The app settings have a "Fix firewall" button.
  • Slow to connect: first run measures the servers — a minute is normal. After that, connection takes ~1–2 s.

Where to get logs

Menu → Diagnostics → Export logs. The file lands on your Desktop as logrus-diagnostics-<timestamp>.zip. Attach it to the ticket and we'll triage faster.
